Where is Centennial's lit library? Was this the expectation when you arrived with lit sets, etc? Curious.

You must have been in overdrive for the unpacking...I have only unpacked about half of mine so far. It is not a fun task at all.

I am jealous that you are able to unpack. I can't get into my new room until August.
Oh well! I guess this just forces me to stay focused on my summer and not school, right? We will see how I am feeling come August...
Good to hear from you Jim!

WOW!! You have been very busy, but I totally understand that. It never ends!! I checked out your "Class" Wikispace and it's incredible. You are amazing!

Hey--did the district every figure what they're going to do with the On-line program for home schoolers? I met a sub today at Franklin who applied for it but was told that they're not sure what they're going to do with it. Just wondering.

Don't forget to take some time for YOU and your family! I'm sure you know that though. Say "Hi" to Kristen.

Great to hear from everyone!

-The school is currently consolidating materials for a Lit. Library and preparing a space for it. Staff members are behind the effort 100%.

-Yes, it has been great to access the room and unpack. I returned yesterday to drop off TIE-borrowed equipment and realized that I still have about two more days of organization to go (tech hook-ups, poster/visual aid consolidation, final student desk arrangements, and summer greetings letter) before resting easy. I am so blessed to land in a spot that has been so accommodating and supportive.

-Online program is a "go." Currently being advertised heavily in our area's Your Hub. I would imagine that the district would like to see the student positions filled ASAP. Have offered my input (for what it's worth), and we'll see what happens.

-Actually ran into a teacher that instructs at the same school while doing errands (yes, post-infamous Chick-Fil-A image) for the first time in my career.
