Holy Smokes

That is all that I can say-holy smokes. It is so weird not knowing where the copy machine is and not knowing the names of all of the employees in the building. Meetings and trainings on new programs or new ways to "do" reading/social studies, etc., make me feel inadequate.
It is just strange right now, but that does not mean it is bad, just different. I am missing your familiar faces and the comforting hugs.
Wishing you great success on your first day of school, and a happy new year.
Ellen

I feel the same way, for me it's like starting last year all over again. I miss my Ames family!!! Looking forward to the day when I know everyone's name again...on the bright side, Hopkins staff has been great...:)

I hear you Ellen! I just discovered where my mailbox was on Friday and I have NO idea where my kids line up tomorrow morning for the first day of school. This should be interesting! On the familiar side, our copy machine broke down this morning. It was just like old times! Miss you all and wish you a great first week with kids!
