I have 9 students from Ames in my class and it seems like they, along with their parents, miss Ames too. I had quite a few parents talk about how they miss walking to school and being able to come over for a visit if they had a spare minute. Little Cadance often writes about Ames in her stories. Her latest was about a b-day party at a friend of hers who went to Peabody. She said "She thought she would never see her friend again." Just today, a couple kids were talking about the science day at the Rockies game. At least we have some wonderful memories of Ames. But it's still so sad to me that Ames will never "be" a school again. What a waste!deboharahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11660003417933423266noreply@blogger.com
